My Grandfather's Clock

Recently, I managed to listen to this song. It is actually a classic, really. But the version I've got is a cover done by Ken Hirai, your R&B guy.
*Tick Tock Tick Tock*... The life story of a man is mirrored by the clock, echoing his youthful exuberance, to his adulthood and finally up till the time when he passes away. Then the clock stops...

What is our life story mirrored by? Is our mirror the Word of God, as Elder James once said? While our clocks tick tocks away, let us pursue after a reflection that makes us worthy of His Love. Let us not waste a moment on this short time we have on earth.

*Tick Tock Tick Tock* Are you listening to the voice of God?

May be back tomorrow.

Greenhorn

It was a facade of steel, concrete and glass from the outside. He took the first step into the building. Electronics combined with tactful firmness greeted him. The hydraulics lifted him up 3 floors.
Early.
Feeling the jittery of most greenhorns, he slowly takes a step into the annex room. At least, some respite from the new surroundings. There was laughter and chatter. People he recognised and some new faces. At the least he did try to maintain that composure. It wouldn't be that tough anyway. They always say you learn something new everyday isn't it? Everyday is a new day, today was no different. Sooner than he expected, people started streaming in. Ironically, he pondered his punctuality. It was never a habit of his to arrive early. Today required him to be on time though.
No excuses on your FIRST day.
Perhaps it would be a new start, a new habit, a new routine that would be embedded into him.

Punctuality...
How many of us leave our residence only when the meeting time beckons?
Maybe he should make it a part of him. Punctuality has far more friends than silent irritation.

What lay ahead of him were promises of new challenges and experiences. He had the Hobson's choice of embracing his new vocation with all servility. After all it was all that would be required of him.

You see another day in each new sun. Tomorrow would bring another day of surprises.

Openning Ceremony

My First attempt at blogging. The page is up and running. I have absolutely zero experience techie net stuff(keyword: HTML), so pardon the easy-peasy template. In any case, I thought I didn't want it to look so cluttered, so it's probably a good thing as well.

This is my own endeavor at chronicling events that occur & thoughts that appear. A balance of random musings together with the main focus would be ideal.
